Confirmed - full list of 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers venues

The ITF has confirmed the full list of host venues for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers on 14 and 15 April.

The nine home and away ties will kick off the 2023 edition of the women’s World Cup of Tennis, which was won by Switzerland in Glasgow last year. Draws and results will be available here.

Among the confirmed venues is the Delray Beach Tennis Center which will host the USA v Austria tie. Coco Gauff will return to her hometown to lead the team in its first Billie Jean King Cup tie in Florida since 2017, when the hosts defeated the Czech Republic in Tampa en route to winning the Fed Cup title.

Poland travel to Kazakhstan with the potential of two Grand Slam champions – Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina – going head-to-head. This is the first meeting between the two nations, who both reached the 2022 Finals in Glasgow. This was Kazakhstan’s best ever performance in the competition and Poland’s best result since 2015.

Slovenia, the lowest ranked nation in this year’s Qualifiers have home advantage, as they host Romania at the Sport Park Bonifika in Koper.  This will be the first meeting between the nations since 2000, when Slovenia ran out 3-0 winners.

Elsewhere, Great Britain have announced that they will host France at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The 2022 semi-finalists will be keen to emulate the same form they showed at last year’s Finals in Glasgow.

Led by Anne Keothavong, Great Britain have enjoyed some good results in recent home ties, winning seven of their last nine. France, the 2019 champions, are sure to prove tough opposition in what will be the first meeting between the two nations in the competition since 1981. Great Britain won that tie 3-0, with Virginia Wade and Sue Barker playing starring roles.

Qualifiers team announcements will be made no later than 17 March. The winning nations will advance to the Finals to played on 7-12 November, where they will join 2022 champions Switzerland and 2022 runners-up Australia. The losing nations will compete in the Play-offs on 10-11 or 11-12 November.
