2023 Qualifiers Draw to take place in Glasgow on Sunday

The draw for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Qualifiers will be held in Glasgow on Sunday 13 November at 13:00 GMT. The draw will take place at the Emirates Arena prior to the start of the final of the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup Finals at 14:00.

The draw will be livestreamed on BillieJeanKingCup.com and the competition’s social media channels.

The draw for the Qualifiers will feature 18 teams, who will compete in nine home-and-away ties on 14-15 April 2023. The teams will include:

- 10 nations that finish in 3rd-12th place at the 2022 Finals in Glasgow
- 8 winners of the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup Play-offs taking place on 11-12 November

Seeds for the draw will be announced on Sunday morning, and will be based on the provisional Billie Jean King Cup Nations Ranking following the 2022 Finals.

The nine winning nations from the 2023 Qualifiers will advance to the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup Finals in November. The champion and runner-up from the 2022 Finals in Glasgow will automatically qualify for the 2023 Finals. The host nation for the 2023 Finals (to be announced in due course) will receive the 12th place at the event unless already qualified, in which case a wild card for the Finals will be awarded to a team which has not already qualified.
