Kuzmova ready to showcase blistering Billie Jean King Cup form in Glasgow

Slovakia’s Viktoria Kuzmova will bid to continue her stunning competition form when she takes to the court during November’s Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals in Glasgow.

World No. 146 Kuzmova has won her previous seven singles matches in the competition and boasts a perfect record since losing her very first match for Slovakia back in 2018 against Natalia Vikhlyantseva.

The 24-year-old will be joined by Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, Rebecca Sramkova, Tereza Mihalikova and 15-year-old rookie Renata Jamrichova as Slovakia go in search of a second Billie Jean King Cup triumph – and first since 2002.

Slovakia’s Group B showdown with No. 2 seeds Australia on Tuesday 8 November will open the women’s world cup of tennis extravaganza, while Belgium will be their next opponents a day later. The top team in each of the four groups will advance to the semi-finals.
