Great Britain captain Anne Keothavong has named a 'strong squad' for the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals - and one that she hopes can end the year on a high.
Emma Raducanu, Harriet Dart, Heather Watson and Katie Boulter all feature in Keothavong's team submission, with a further player due to be added before the event kicks off on 8 November.
"All four players have experience in the competition and great memories of playing for GB," said Keothavong. "We will confirm the fifth team member in the coming weeks. Having this competition for places is a great position to be in."
The Brits, who have never won the women's world cup of tennis, will face Kazakhstan on the opening day of the Finals from 4pm GMT on 8 November, before tackling Spain in their other Group C contest on 10 November.
The winners of the four groups will progress to the semi-finals on Saturday 12 November.
