Rybakina ready to lead Kazakhs in Glasgow

Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina will seek to continue the excellent start to her Billie Jean King Cup career when she leads the Kazakh team at the 2022 Finals in Glasgow. 

Rybakina, who is joined by Yulia Putintseva, Zhibek Kulambayeva and Anna Danilina in captain Yaroslava Shvedova's side for the women's world cup of tennis on 8-13 November, has not lost a match in the competition since falling in her debut encounter back in 2021.

Kazakhstan will have high hopes for their Finals debut in Group C, which sees them take on hosts Great Britain on 8 November and Spain on 9 November.

Only the winners of each of the four groups progress to the semi-finals.
