Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers: 100 days to go

The countdown is on to the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas Qualifers, with 100 days to go until the nine ties taking place around the world determine which nations will join 2021 champions Russian Tennis Federation and finalists Switzerland at the Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

The 2022 Qualifiers will feature 18 teams – the 10 Finals nations that exited before the 2021 final in Prague, and the eight winning nations from the 2021 Billie Jean King Cup Play-offs. With Canada promoted to the 2021 Finals after their Play-offs victory, Romania was promoted to the Qualifiers draw.

The Qualifiers draw took place ahead of the 2021 Billie Jean King Cup final, with nations competing on a home-and-away tie basis on 15-16 April. The nine winning nations in the Qualifiers will advance to the 2022 Finals, while the nine defeated nations will compete in the 2022 Play-offs.
